Ethiopia Banko Gotiti *NEW*
We take our sweet time selecting our Ethiopian coffees, and this selection is the product of 2 weeks of cupping over 26 washed Ethiopian lots. This famed washing station beat out the rest to find it's home at Kuma. In the cup, Banko Gotiti shows big notes of stone fruit and berries, think nectarine and blackberry. A structured lemon acidity is anchored in sweetness, reminding us of lemon bars that linger on after you've taken your sip.
The Banko Gotiti washing station is one of the furthest east in the Gedeb district of the Gedeo Zone. 650 producers deliver cherry to this station, where washed coffees are hand sorted upon delivery, fermented underwater for up to two full days (nights at this elevation tend to be quite chilly), and then dried carefully on raised beds for 12-15 days.
Sweet, clean and vibrant, this coffee will make you go back for a second cup!
